Project Information
IPAG has defined 5 documents for the exchange of medication information between health
professionals.
The eMedicationTreatmentPlan document describes the content and format of a medication document generated during
the process in which a health care professional (in most cases, but not necessarily
always, a medical specialist or a general practitioner) adds a medication to the medication
treatment plan of a patient.
The
eCurrentMedication aims to fully comprise the current medication of a patient.
The eRezept represents the electronic form of a prescription of a drug by a qualified healthcare
professional.
The eAbgabe documents the direct dispensation of a drug to a patient or legitimized third party
with regard to a later application of the product by a qualified health professional.
The eMedicationComment is a document in which health professionals track important observations (with the
explicit consent of the patient), in regards to medication use.
