The eRezept represents the electronic form of a prescription of a drug by a qualified healthcare professional.

Benefits of eRezept
Increase in patient safety through:
  • Increased legibility and completeness of the prescription compared to handwritten prescriptions.
  • No change in media and thus a reduction of potential sources of error when entering a prescription into the primary system of a healthcare professional.

eRezept Parameters
Parameters recommended by the IPAG for implementation represent the current eMedication "Minimal Data Set" and can be found in the IPAG report. In the ART-DECOR Dataset they are marked with MDS for Minimal Data Set. The remaining parameters are not recommended for implementation at this point in time. The IPAG will continue to revise these.
