Description

The eAbgabe documents the direct dispensation of a drug to a patient or legitimized third party with regard to a later application of the product by a qualified health professional. When a drug is dispensed to the patient, the eAbgabe can be created by a qualified health professional (in accordance with their respective competencies).

Benefits of eAbgabe

Transparency regarding the acquisition of a drug by the patient.
The possession of a drug is the basic requirement for the patient to be able to take the drug.
Evidence of the adherence to a given therapy by the patient through the comparison with eCurrentMedication. (medication adherence).
Documentation of Information which will be provided to the patient during the dispensation.

eAbgabe Parameters
Parameters recommended by the IPAG for implementation represent the current eMedication "Minimal Data Set" and can be found in the IPAG report. In the ART-DECOR Dataset they are marked with MDS for Minimal Data Set. The remaining parameters are not recommended for implementation at this point in time. The IPAG will continue to revise these.
